Bandung, Telkom University โ International Office (IO) Telkom University successfully held the Indonesian Culture Short Camp (ICSC) 2022. This activity brought together 32 international students from various campuses in Bandung to study Sundanese culture for two days on March 25-26, 2022.
According to the Director of Strategic Partnerships & International Office (SPIO), Lia Yuldinawati, M.M., this activity aims to provide insight, experience, and strengthen relations between international students who are currently studying in Indonesia, especially Bandung.
“ICSC 2022 is our first onsite event since the pandemic. Tel-U happens to be the first campus to hold an international physical event, and hopefully, it will increase the visits of other foreign students. “said Lia.
According to Lia, the preparation for implementing the 2022 ICSC event took quite a long time because it collided with quite strict health protocol regulations, especially for foreign citizens (WNA).
“Thirty-two foreign students who attended this event came from around 15 countries. Hopefully, by holding this event, they can learn about the Sundanese culture. So that they can retell when they return to their country, it is also an insight that many cultures need to be studied and learn to adapt in this world.” said Lia.
These thirty-two international students will later study Sundanese Script & Culture. Then on the second day, they will do team building and rafting in Pangalengan.
