BANDUNG, TEL-U – A number of international students from Afghanistan and Venezuela also exhibit their work in the exhibition titled “On-Material (ity)”. They are students who are members of one year Darmasiswa program in Textile & Fashion (KTM) Courses Telkom University Faculty of Creative Industries (FIK Tel-U).
“The work on display is able to explore the potential of Indonesian local resources to be appointed as a textile work and outstanding design, said Dean of FIK, Dr. Ir. Agus Achmad Suhendra, MT while opening the exhibition.
According to Agus, the exhibition could also encourage faculty and students to the next FIK expand business on international level according to the vision of Tel-U as a world-class university and the vision of Indonesia 2020. “When we talked on international level, especially linked on 2020 Indonesia vision which to be the world’s fashion capital, then build a characteristic is a must. And it’s been done by our faculty colleagues in KTM, “he said.
According to the Chairman of Textile Program and Fashion Craft, Arini Arumsari, S.Ds., M.Ds, this work was task of second semester students were deliberately exhibited to the public widely appreciated. “In the first half of their work has been exhibited at the campus.
