ZOOM, Telkom University – In support of the MBKM (Independent Campus Independent Learning) program, the BUMN Higher Education Alliance (APERTI BUMN) which consists of nine universities affiliated with State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) inaugurated the PERMAI (Indonesian Student Exchange) APERTI program, which took place online, Friday (10/9).
This student exchange program is a form of support for the MBKM program launched by the Ministry of Education and Culture, where through this program students can take part in learning between Study Programs and between campuses through the Semester Credit System (SKS) transfer mechanism.
Head of APERTI BUMN Prof. Dr. Adiwijaya explained that this program allows students to later be able to take part in lecture activities between study programs and between campuses that are members of the BUMN APERTI.
“It is time for universities to collaborate and together create a superior generation for Indonesia in the future.”
Prof. Adiwijaya said that in the Permai program, students will attend lectures on campus that will be chosen for one semester, and take a minimum of 6 credits and a maximum of 12 credits or equal to 2 courses.
“Students who can join this program are students who have entered the 5th semester and 7th-semester students, and have received a recommendation from the guardian lecturer or the head of the study program.”
The registration period for this program can start on September 15, 2021, and will pass the file selection, where if it passes the selection it will be announced on September 18, 2021. After that, students will attend lectures according to the schedule of their respective partner campuses.
At this event, there was also a signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between all APERTI BUMN universities and the Indonesian Cyber ??University (USI), wherein the agreement both parties agreed to organize the Tri Dharma of higher education namely education, research, and community service, as well as in framework for developing the resources of each institution.
According to the chairman of APERTI BUMN, Prof. Adiwijaya, APERTI BUMN is ready to collaborate to jointly improve the quality of education in Indonesia.
“Hopefully the collaboration that exists here can produce new ideas and the best innovations for the nation, and as higher education, together we can create a superior generation for the nation and provide benefits to the community,” he said. (***)
