ATVSI and Tel-U Expected to Collaborate in the Field of Education

BANDUNG, TEL-U – Rector of Telkom University (Tel-U) Prof Ir. Ashari Mochamad MEng PhD expected that the collaboration between Tel-U with the Association of Indonesian Private Television (ATVSI) can be established, especially in education field. “ATVSI and Tel-U had similar intention to promote education for the nation, but in a different way,” he said.

This statement conveyed in front of thousands students who participated in the Seminar “ATVSI Caring” held in the Hall of the Faculty of Applied Sciences (FIT), Wednesday (13/4). This event was enlivened by Vice Governor of West Java Deddy Mizwar, Chairman ATVSI, Dr Ishadi SK MSc, Secretary General ATVSI Suryopratomo, and a number of reporters and presenters from 10 private television which a member ATVSI like Retno Pinasti, Jati Dharma, and David Rizal ( SCTV and Indosiar), Prita Laura (Metro TV), Andromeda Mercury (TVOne), and Sudrajat (Trans 7).

By the enthusiasm shown of participants, Tel-U Rector expected that there would be positive collaboration between Tel-U with ATVSI. “We have twenty-three thousand students and more than thirty thousand alumni who have tremendous potential to be developed, included the television which are members of ATVSI,” he said.

ATVSI Chairman, Dr Ishadi SK MSc appreciated the enthusiasm given by the audience. Aside from Tel-U, not a few participants who have come from other campuses such as the Indonesia University of Education and Vocational High School around Bandung. “Thank you for this wonderful welcome,” he said.

ATVSI has ten private television Indonesia, such as RCTI, SCTV, Indosiar, MNC TV, ANTV, Metro TV, Trans TV, Trans 7, Global TV and TV One. On this event, a reporter and presenter shared their knowledged and experienced during a career in television. Interactive communication greeted by the participants which totally enlivened this event. (Purel / raf)
