BANDUNG, TEL-U – The Committee Chairman of Telkom University (Tel-U) 2nd Anniversary, Dr. Teguh Widodo, SE., ST., MM expected Bandung ICT Expo could be like CommunicAsia in Indonesia. “We know that this Expo are still many shortcomings, hopefully in the next expo could be better so we equal with CommunicAsia,” he said.
CommunicAsia 2015 is an exhibition of animation, games, information and communication technology (ICT) held in Singapore. The exhibition was held at Marina Bay Sands, Singapore on 2-5 June 2015.
This expectation conveyed by Teguh at the closing ceremony of ICT Expo 2015 in Bandung Telkom Building University Convention Hall (TUCH), Saturday (12/9). Expo which invited more than 50 ICT companies has been held for three days from Thursday (10/9).
Teguh also like to thank all companies that have participated in this expo. He wished the cooperation between all companies continue to another stage. “I hope all companies representative in line with Tel-U to contribute in advancing ICT in Indonesia,” he said.
Tel-U Rector Prof. Mochamad Ashari, M.Eng., Ph.D. appreciate the implementation of Bandung ICT Expo. Rector reckon the purpose of this expo is reached and lead to cooperation between industry, government, academia, and communities. “Thanks to the company that has enliven this event and organizers who made this event to be exceptional,” he said.
At the closing ceremony was also declared the best faculty and study program, lecturers and best TPA as well as a number of other awards for academic society Tel-U. (purel / raf)
