The Army Transportation Center (PUSHUBAD), visited Telkom University to strengthen friendship and open up opportunities for collaboration between the two institutions. This visit took place on Tuesday (6/12), in Bangkit Building Telkom University.
This was stated by the Head of the Army Transportation Center (KAPUSHUBAD) Major General TNI Nurcahyo Utomo, M.Pm., who in his remarks hoped that today’s meeting could result in a collaboration that could be implemented immediately.
“We are here to get to know Tel-U better, especially in terms of technology development which is closely related to this campus. In the future, of course, we can arrange anything that can be collaborated, the aim is none other than to provide benefits for the Indonesian people. We hope to be able to cooperate with Tel-U,” said Nurcahyo Utomo.
Telkom University Vice Rector for Research, Innovation, and Cooperation, Dr. Ir. Rina Pudji Astuti, M.T welcomed the presence of KAPUSHUBAD, according to her many opportunities could be carried out together, such as the development of military transportation, communications, renewable energy, and others.
“Our research is numerous and varied. We also routinely carry out community service by lecturers and students. Maybe from these two points the team from PUSHUBAD can participate in the practice. Like when we also collaborated with the Citarum Harum Thematic KKN.โ she explained.
Rina also explained that there were three strategic cooperation opportunities, namely cooperation in the fields of Academics, Laboratory, Staff Exchange, and Infrastructure Development. TNI and Tel-U can mutually benefit from existing labs. So that the Penta helix collaboration continues.
After conducting discussions at Gd. Rising, the PUSHUBAD team visited the Telecom Infra Project Laboratory located at the Tel-U Multipurpose Building, which is the only TIP lab in Indonesia to develop OpenRAN network technology.
