BANDUNG, Telkom University – Telkom University Alumni Forum (FAST), a forum for more than 60,000 Telkom University alumni spread over 30 countries, now has a new alumni president.
Sri Safitri, or Uni Safitri, is an alumnus of Telkom University Telecommunication Engineering 1991 (formerly STT Telkom). She currently serves as Deputy EVP CX & Digitization of PT Telkom Indonesia Tbk.
The appointment of Safitri to be the President of FAST for the 2021-2025 period took place on Saturday (4/12) at Telkom University’s Tokong Nanas Building, after the General Meeting of FAST Members FAST administrators from all over Indonesia attended.
In a presentation made by Uni Safitri, he said that his future vision is to unite the strengths of alumni for the advancement of the alma mater, nation, and state.
“With more than 60 thousand alumni, of course, outstanding collaboration is needed to unite the strengths of these alumni. Therefore it is hoped that the future management of FAST can unite the strengths of alumni for the advancement of the alma mater and the Indonesian nation,” he said.
Previously, President of FAST held by Ahmad Nugraha Rachmat, he is an Alumni of Informatics Engineering 1999 (dh STT Telkom) and served as President of FAST for the period 2016 – 2020 (+1), and Sri Safitri has continued the baton as President of FAST for the period 2021-2025.
The Rector of Telkom University Alumni Homecoming event, which took place in the Hall of the Faculty of Applied Sciences Telkom University, Saturday (4/12), congratulated Uni Safitri for being the president of FAST for the period 2021-2025. Hopefully, together we can unite all alumni and bring the name of Telkom’s alma mater. University is getting even better.
