Telkom University students again won a proud achievement in an international competition event, ITechno Cup Competition 2021 last August. This competition is organized by the Faculty of Informatics and Computer Engineering at the Jakarta State Polytechnic (PNJ).
Entitled “International Event Millennials 2.0 for Industrial Technology 4.0”, the competition starts from June 25 to August 8 online via Zoom. It consists of two stages, namely Submission (June 25-July 3) and Final Presentation to the jury on August 8. The categories contested in this event are Web Design, Poster Design, E-Sport, and ICT Business.
The team from Telkom University was Charger, won 1st place in the Senior Web Design category with a recitation web design work called Qira’a. This team consists of two students majoring in Computer Engineering, Telkom University, namely Hamzah Fatihulhaq and M Faisal Hidayatullah.
“We designed the website using Figma for the User Interface. Then the next step is to convert the design results into an active website that is ready to use. At the presentation stage, we won 1st place in this category,” said Hamzah.
In addition to the competition, this event also presents international webinars with two speakers who are experts in their fields. The first speaker was Giri Kuncoro who is a Senior Software Engineer at GoJek (now GoTo). The second speaker was Mouafek Ayadi, the Developer Scholarship Mentor at Google Africa. The participants, apart from competing, also got interesting insights from the world’s leading technology companies.
