BANDUNG, TEL-U – Students of Industrial Engineering, Faculty of Industrial Engineering Telkom University (FRI Tel-U) created tools used in the production of shoes, Ezglue. Ezglue is an innovation product in the form of an aid mechanic using glue for gluing shoes.
“This product will provide set of features for workers in the shoe-making process, especially in the process of shoe glue. They no longer need to use hand when applying glue, “Fachmi Agung Calista, a student of Industrial Engineering class of 2012, Friday (12/6).
According to Fachmi, Ezglue completed with brush feature that can be assembled on the edge. So that workers can feel the two benefits at once while using Ezglue, apply glue and simultaneously flatten.
“The reason Ezglue made for seeing the potential of SMEs in Cibaduyut is very large. They are often hectic with orders. So as to increase the productivity of SMEs we make tools to simplify the production process of shoes, “said Fachmi.
In addition to easy, tool design is made ergonomically so that it safe for craftsmen shoes. “According to the plan, this work will be registered and further developed for mass production,” said Fachmi.
In the planning process to manufacture prototype Ezglue, Fachmi not alone. He worked with student of Industrial Engineering in 2012 other forces that Alen Salvo Pratomo, Desty Andryani P, Muhammad Iskandar, Rizqon Umi Nadra and Kartikasari.
