BANDUNG, TEL-U – Faculty of Creative Industries Telkom University (FIK Tel-U) and the School of Creative Technology Saxion University agree to actualize the lecturers exchange cooperation. The agreement contained in a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) and signed by the Dean of FIK Tel-U Dr. Agus Ahmad Suhendra and has been signed by the Head of School of Creative Technology Saxion University, J. Wolters.
The signing of MOAwas witnessed by Telkom University Rector, Prof. Dr Mochamad Ashari, Ph.D., Director of the International Office of Saxion University Chris JM van den Borne and the senior leaders of Tel-U in the Meeting Room of Faculty of Applied Sciences (FIT) Tel-U, Tuesday (17/3).
The cooperation encompasses a short-term visits of Tel-U lecturer to Saxion, or vice versa. This program is implemented for four weeks. The faculty exchange visits up to 90 days in accordance with the duration of the visa requirements. MoA is valid forthe next three years.
At this momement, the collaboration between Tel-U and Saxion implemented in faculty exchange program. However, Chris JM van den Borne evoke that Tel-U and Saxion to immediately discuss about collaborations in other fields. “Tel-U focus in science and technology-based research, as well as Saxion. The next cooperation may be developed further, “said Chris.
According to him, there are a lot of innovation and research results which is developed by university and can be implemented in the community lifewith an effective business model approach.
