BANDUNG, TEL-U – A total of seven bands competed in the event FKB Music Competition that was held in Bandung Loop Station on Saturday (25/4). With themed “Play The Ryhtm To Be Shine On” was organized by BEM FKB Tel-U.
One Interesting fact is in this competition they must re-arrange the folk song and perform it. As a result, the folk songs sung in a slick and present different colors of music for the audience it depends on the music dreativity of the seven bands that participate in this competition.
According to Mohammed Azhar Ryan as Chief Executive FKB Music Competition, one of the competition assessment is how the seven bands can be arranged chosen folk song. “By arranging folk songs hoped to be reminded again to students who are present here that our culture is still there,” he said.
In addition, the Paguyuban SME participated in FKB enliven Music Competition. SME are thick with Sundanese culture is also featured folk songs that have been re-arranged. The difference is, they perform the song used traditional musical instruments of Sunda region.
After a thorough assessment, finally Eye Set Up won the first position and the second position was Sefara band. (Purel / EAD)
