BANDUNG, TEL-U – Students of Industrial Engineering of Brawijaya University from Simulation Laboratory and Industrial Application visited Tekom University (Tel-U), Tuesday (6/10). Accompanied by the head of laboratory Yeni Sumantri, S.Si., MT., Ph.D., UNIBRAW group arrival was greeted by Vice Dean Faculty of Industrial Engineering (FRI) Tel-U Raden Rohmat Saedudin, ST., MT, Head of Simbi Laboratory Rio Aurachman ST. , MT and students of Business Simulation Laboratory FRI Tel-U.
“This second meeting is expected to develop into a collaboration. Collaboration include seminars and research in the field of business simulations, “said Yenny. According to him, research in the field of business simulations still slightly, so that this become an opportunity for FRI Tel-U and TI UNIBRAW to collaborate in Business Simulation research.
Similar to Yeni, Rio Aurachman conveyed that research opportunities in the field of business simulations is widely open considering the phenomenon of fourth industrial revolution era.
“Our condition today have been faced with the availability of broadband which causes the flow of information which can be quickly obtained. Rapid flow of information allows the machine to machines communicate each other. Thus, the role of internet things for manufacturing of goods and services will change, “said Rio. He expected, by looking at the phenomenon, Simbi laboratory can be a locomotive in response to such changes.
FRI Tel-U students and TI UNIBRAW exchanging information on the meeting held in the FRI conference room. They discussed the program in each laboratory and Business Simulation competition list.
