BANDUNG, TEL-U – Kutai regency asked Telkom University (Tel-U) helped provide guidance in developing its resources. This was conveyed by Head of Organization Kutai regency, Supriyanto, during his visit to Tel-U campus, Wednesday (9/9).
“In every district we have a product that is favored. But we do not have any experts who can manage this product. We do not have any bachelor design that’s why we had to use a designer from outside region, “said Supriyanto.
According Supriyanto, Kutai regency has potential resources have been exploited and continue to be developed. Among them agriculture, forestry, tourism, fishery, plantation and industrial sectors.
Kutai regency’s statement was welcomed by the Rector of Tel-U, Prof. Mochammad Ashari, M. Eng., PhD. For him this is a great appreciation for the Tel-U. “Tel-U have a duty to promote human resources from all over Indonesia,” said Rector.
To validate this assistance, the two sides signed the MoU. The signing took place on the 5th Floor Bangkit Building. This cooperation connected to Tridharma University which is teaching, research and community service.
“Hopefully with the signing of this MoU, the cooperation between Tel-U and Kutai regency can be positively continue. Hopefully not only in education, but also cooperation in other fields, “said Supriyanto. (purel / risca)
