Let’s Improve On Time Graduation Quality!

BANDUNG, TEL-U –Rector Telkom University (Tel-U), Prof. Ir Mochamad Ashari, MEng, PhD invited lecturers to assist institutions improved the on time graduation quality without compromising the quality of students. It was conveyed by Rector to participants at Classroom Action Research (CAR), which was held by Education Development Division (BPP) in the Hall of Multipurpose Building (GSG), Monday (4/4).

“I expect that on this 2016 curriculum, all participants here can bring sprit of change and improve the quality of Tel-U in the future,” he said.

According to Rector, at the end of 2013, the graduation rate reached 35 percent but now it has reached 48 percent. In other words, the Tel-U has been increasingly improve an on time outcomes. “The on time graduation rates affect the community values ??of this institution,” said Rector.

Meanwhile, BPP Manager, Dr. Majidah explained there are two points of the Permenristekdikti No. 44 of 2015. First, the appropriate competency standards that refer to KKNI, the formulation of learning outcomes (CP) is used as a reference for content development, process and assessment of learning. Second, the maximum study period for diploma program is 5 years and 7-year for Bachelor program.

The workshop was attended by 74 Tel-U lecturers and invited Dr. Robinson Situmorang, MPd as a speaker. According to him, the purpose and characteristics of PTK was to bring improvement. “Characteristics of PTK is situational and flexible, because the purpose of PTK is to modify and change for the better” he said.
