BANDUNG, TEL-U – Lembaga Pengelola Dana Pendidikan (LPDP) socialized the services program of management fund research education development institutions Indonesia to all Telkom University (Tel-U) lecturers. Socialization run in the Multimedia Room Bangkit Building Tel-U, Thursday (16/4).
LPDP is an institution that was originally initiated by the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Education and Culture, which serve as the National Education Development Fund (DPPN) managed by endowment fund mechanism by a Public Service Agency (BLU).
This event was attended by the Director of Funding for Research and Education Facilities Rehabilitation LPDP, M. Sofwan Effendi, Vice Rector II Padjadjaran University Prof. Dr Rina Indiastuti, SE., MSIE as a reviewer in the LPDP, Tel-U Rector Prof. Ir. Mochamad Ashari, M.Eng., Ph.D., Director of Research and Community Service (PPM) Tel-U Dr. Palti MT Sitorus and lecturers from universities in the Kopertis IV region.
Tel-U Rector Prof. Ir. Mochamad Ashari, M.Eng., Ph.D., said that since LPDP established, Indonesia respected in the world communities, because not all overseas universities can be a recommendation for lecturers to continue their study. “So overseas universities enroll to LPDP to obtain a license. Hopefully LPDP can encourage all lecturers’ especially the young TEL-U lecturers to continue study and do research, “he said.
According to Palti, PPM always associated with the LPDP, especially related to the plan to build a holistic line of LPDP information systems. “We believe that they eager to have a lot of new researchers and new inventors to perform,” said Dr. Palti MT Sitorus.
Meanwhile, Rina Indiastuti say, as a reviewer, he was responsible for the proposal passes. “We have three reviewers who have the same inspection standards and we should not check the file from the same institution as reviewer itself has a reputation,” he said. “(Purel / Izal / Nisa)
