BANDUNG, Telkom University – Telkom University (Tel-U) with the Pancasila and Indonesian Citizenship Education Professional Association (AP3KnI) in West Java region held a national webinar, which took place live on the West Java AP3KnI Youtube Channel, Wednesday (24/6).

Entitled “Talking Adaptation of New Habits in Various Perspectives” this event was filled with a discussion about the process of citizenship education in the teaching and learning process.

On this webinar present as speakers are Prof. Dr. Udin S Winataputra (Chair of AP3KnI), Prof. Dr. Rochmat Wahan (Lecturer at Yogyakarta State University), Prof. Dr. Endang Komara (Chair of LLDIKTI Region IV Professor Association), Dr. Yahya Arwiyah (Chairperson of the West Java AP3Knl and Tel-U Lecturer), and Dr. Epin Saepudin (Lecturer at Bandung Institute of Technology).

Chairman of the AP3KnI Prof. Udin Winataputra explained that AP3KnI is a professional organization of citizenship and Pancasila in the world of education, to shape the nation’s character in the application of Pancasila values.

“Through this forum, we want to realize the values ??of Pancasila not only for students but also the behavior of lecturers/teachers must be able to apply the values ??of Pancasila, so that the values ??of Pancasila can be applied in social life both manners and speech.” He said.

Telkom University Rector, Prof. Adiwijaya opened this event by explaining that citizenship educators and Pancasila are the frontlines in realizing an outstanding generation for Indonesia, where citizenship education is a crucial thing for each generation.

“Citizenship education is crucial in developing this nation. I hope that Citizenship and Pancasila educators can provide outputs and outcomes that can be felt directly by the community. So we know how our students understand and practice Pancasila in their life, and the generation can bring Indonesia into the golden generation in 2045. โ€œHe said.
