BANDUNG, TEL-U- A total of 350 people took part in a drawing contest themed ‘Selamatkan Hutanku, Lestari Negeriku’ held at the Faculty of Creative Industries Telkom University (FIK Tel-U), Saturday (12/9). Graphic art and drawing competition held by Faber Castell invited Indonesian artists to channel creation ideas in the media of painting and drawing.
In keeping with the theme, the competition in collaboration with WWF Indonesia accommodated all matters related to forest and conservation. There are two categories in the competition which held in 11 cities, that is Category 1 (Public and College) and Category 2 (secondary schools)
“This is the fifth graphic art drawing competition at national level. As the organizers, we hope young Indonesian artists more concerned with the preservation of forests, “said Faber Castell Promotion Coordinator West Java Region, Abdur Rashid.
Parents of the participants seemed enthusiastic and helped provide support to their children who joined this competition. According to one parent, through this competition he whised his son will more familiar with the environment, and became the new experience which can positively thrived children potential.
