The Community Service activities with the theme ‘Assisting the Context of Digital Marketing PPDB’ are still ongoing. Offline Marketing Assistance is a Topic in this 9th week. Together with SMK Telkom 2 Medan, this assistance was carried out by the Telkom University Lecturer Team.
This activity took place online via Zoom Meeting on Thursday (14/4). The event ran smoothly and interactively with an audience of 23 people. The material in this activity was delivered by two speakers, namely Martha Tri Lestari, Lecturer of Digital Public Relations, and Syahputra, Lecturer of Business Administration.
The first material presented by Martha discussed the Adaptation of Offline Marketing Towards the Endemic. If all activities have taken place offline, then Offline Marketing and Digital Marketing become one unit. Because with this integration and the changes in the 5.0 revolution, it demands that we must be able to digitize ourselves.
Then Martha discussed the Leverage 020 Experience, where the audience could come directly to the location.
“Here, there is convergence. There is a mix between offline marketing and online marketing. The content on social media is still being implemented so that there is still integration,” according to Martha.
Still, on the same material, Syahputra said that we have to determine the targets in deciding the market segment in marketing. The trick is that there must be research that will determine the target market.
“This communication will run effectively if there is such a thing as communicating with each other. Now the way you can do it is by using the Marketing Communications Mix method.”
Personal Selling is a big part of Syahputra’s life. Until he learned that ‘Rejection is certain, then just say it. As soon as you talk, people want there to be a sale.
