BANDUNG, TEL-U -Team 2 of Telkom University (Tel-U) won Bandung Mayor Cup in the Management Widyatama Event 2015, Saturday (25/4). A team of Made Harmika Pradnya (Communication Studies), Novi Yolanda Nadapdap (MBTI), and Izati Rizka Yuherdania (MBTI) achieved First Place in Widyatama Business & Management Competition in 2015.
Novi said, although only followed by eight teams, but the competition still interesting. “In this competition we have to pass through four stages to win”, she added.
In the preliminary round, there were two stages that must be passed by all the teams. They must get a lot of value in the phase Test Team which requires all teams to answer 60 multiple choice questions and Think and Push stage system uses quiz.
The next four teams with the highest score advance to the semi-finals in the form of case study. Interesting part in this stage, after the team managed to solve the given case, the representative teams should present the result to the jury without bringing any notes.
Telkom 2 team managed to get through it well and advanced to the final round in the form of debate. In the final round, Team 2 Telkom successfully beat Widyatama 2 as the host.
Izati hope that this victory can be encouragement for other students to be a champion. “Hopefully not only us, but other friends also can,” she said. (Purel / EAD)
