In supporting the Certified Internship or Independent Study program, Telkom University Academic Development Section (BPA) collaborates with PT Mari Belajar Indonesia Cerdas and Microsoft to hold a Dissemination of “Mari Belajar Independent Study” which was carried out online through a Zoom meeting (20/1).
The Independent Study Program is a component of the Merdeka Campus program, which aims to provide students with opportunities to develop and equip themselves by mastering specific and practical competencies sought by the industrial world through extracurricular activities that are still considered part of lectures.
This program provides learning paths for Microsoft platform developers, Microsoft data engineer, data analyst, and Artificial Intelligence. With the completion of a graduate profile (CPL), which consists of seven courses with a total that can be converted to 20 credits.
As the Technical Trainer for Mari Belajar, Rinaldi S.Kom. stated that the Independent Study learning activities would be conducted for four months.
“By participating in this program, students have the opportunity to acquire knowledge, experience, and problem-solving skills that have been adapted for the current industrial and business world.” Rinaldi said
There are some benefits that students will get, namely students will receive certification, an opportunity to enter companies that have partnered with Microsoft, career-relevant networking opportunities, digital certificates for the best category, and a thirty-million-rupiah scholarship for the best team.
