BANDUNG, TEL-U – Telkom University (Tel-U) decided to cooperate with PT. Telekomunikasi Indonesia (PT. Telkom) on research programs development. The cooperation was approved by Dean Faculty of Informatics, Dr Maman Abdurohman, ST, MT, and EGM Digital Service Division of PT Telkom, Arief Musta’in in Meeting Room, Panambulai Building, FIF 3rd floor, Thursday (18/2).
The cooperation involved the potential resource development owned by PT. Telkom and Tel-U and implementation of research programs in digital business.
Director of Research and Community Service (PPM), Dr. Palti MT Sitorus said that the cooperation between two parties is about Big Data. “As academician, we become a data scientist and data analytics. This is an opportunity for us to develop the capabilities both students and lecturers, “he said.
In line with Palti, Arief added, PT. Telkom with Tel-U can create research project together which benefits for industry. Not only as the research results, but also could be a business. “I think, Tel-U has capability and capacity for that, we can carry out closer cooperation. Moreover, Tel-U has a lot of resources which become a strength in research, “said Arief.
This partnership aims to support the research program related to the settlement of business problems in Digital Industry Services. (Purel / EAD)
