Tel-U Coffee, which is under the auspices of the Directorate of Career, Alumni, and Endowment Tel-U (CAE), celebrated its 3rd anniversary on Friday (23/12). Tel-U Coffee is a form of Tel-U commitment to raising endowment funds for institutions that in the future can be used for various things. At this celebration, Tel-U Coffee initiated a new tagline, namely “A Cup for Endowment & Conservation” and reviewed a book by Tel-U Lecturers entitled “The Education of Young Entrepreneurs”.
“Even though we are still relatively young, we can feel the impact and benefits of Tel-U Coffee. It is a place for learning, hanging out, discussing, and sharing ideas in this facility. Hopefully it will continue to inspire the Academic Community of Telkom University. We hope this activity will run smoothly and be beneficial.โ said the Vice Rector for Admission, Student Affairs, and Alumni, Dr. Dida Diah Damajanti.
Director of Career Development, Alumni, and Endowment, Ahmad Tri Hanuranto, M.T. revealed that universities need to have an endowment fund so they don’t depend on tuition fees. This is one of the reflections of entrepreneurship carried out by Tel-U through Tel-U Coffee.
“As our gratitude to Tel-U Coffee which was born 3 years ago, Tel-U Coffee is one of the vehicles to collect Tel-U endowment funds. We are also focusing on conservation at this time. In 2038 we have a target to have an endowment fund that can drive many things, so it doesn’t just depend on tuition fees. Of course this cannot be separated from the story of entrepreneurship.โ said AT Hanuranto.
This event also invited Dr. Ir. Ratna Lindawati Lubis, she is a Lecturer at the Faculty of Economics and Business as well as the author of a book entitled “The Education of Young Entrepreneurs” which will be discussed in this casual talk.
“There are 7-chapters in this book, which I arranged. The 7-chapter discusses how we as humans can continue to grow. Everything is a process, it can’t be instant. We can survive with the values we have and believe in. This book is a combination of my thoughts between natural and digital. “Ratna said.
