BANDUNG, TEL-U – The opening week of sports and art (PORSENI) of private universities rayon V Kopertis IV Bandung region held in the Student Centre of Tel-U, Tuesday (9/6). This opening attended by vice rector IV Dr. M. Yahya Arwiyah, SH., MH., and the Director of Student Affairs Hendratno SE Akt, M.M.
According to Yahya, the purpose of this Porseni was for developt and fostering students’ interests and talents of private universities, especially in the field of sports and arts. In this event, there were two types of competition that was badminton and table tennis. “This match was a maturity coaching for you as a competitor, a winner yet they are the best, the winner was representative of us,” said Yahya Arwiyah.
Private universities that are members of rayon V Kopertis IV Bandung area are Indonesian Computer University (UNIKOM), Maranatha Christian University, University Widyatama, STIKES Aisha, STIKES Immanuel, STKIP Sundanese Cimahi, Nusantara Islamic University (UIN), Polytechnic Piksi Ganesha, and Telkom University. Symbolically the Vice Rector IV Tel-U open this PORSENI by shaking hand all athletes. “It is expected that the results of this hard work can achieve victory,” he said. (Purel / Sarah)
