TOKYO, TEL-U – Rector of Telkom University (Tel-U) Prof Mochamad Ashari M Eng PhD, optimistic that in a short time will cooperate with Kumamoto University – Japan. This was conveyed by the Rector after meeting with President of Kumamoto University, Dean of Graduate School of Science and Technoloogy (GSST) and Tel-U lecturers who is currently conducting S3 at Kumamoto University, Thursday (3/3).
Kumamoto University does not have the Faculty of Economics and Business, but along the spirit of multidiscipline area of ??research, those areas can be combined with business management, for example Management of Technology (MOT).
“Hopefully that will not be a long time, the MoU between Kumamoto University and Telkom University will be signed soon. The MoU will be a foundation for cooperation in more detail, “said Rector.
Besides attended by President of Kumamoto University, the meeting also attended by GSST Dean, Dr. Jun Otani as well as some of the main lecturer at Kumamoto University. Both sides agreed to cooperate in a number of areas including student exchange, faculty further studies, and joint research.
The Rector of Tel-U accompanied by Dean Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) Dodie Tricahyono, Ph.D, and Head of MM study program, Dr. Dadan Rahadian. A day before, Tel-U delegation received the certificate of accreditation ABEST21 housed at Sony University, Shinagawa, Tokyo.
On that occasion, also held the International Symposium entittled “Creating the Future through Quality Improvement.” Rector Tel-U became one of the panelists in the discussion and also some rectors from other universities such as University of Lampung, Prof. Dr. Hasriadi Mat Akin, Bogor Agricultural University Prof Dr Herry Suhardiyanto, and Vice-Rector of Brawijaya University, Prof. Dr. Kusmartono.
