BANDUNG, TEL-U – When media preach violence or other disgraceful acts which experienced by a number in some campuses, Telkom University came with another color.
A total of 3,900 new students in 2015 Telkom University were divided into group 1, 2, and 3 underwent the first day of orientation activities on Monday (10/8). The event was held at Telkom University Convention Hall (TUCH).
This is an annual activity to welcome new students of Tel-U. This activity also intended as a venue for introduction to the environment and culture around Telkom University.
OMB first day started at 07.00 pm starting with the opening ceremony at the same time welcome the new students in 2015 by the Vice Chancellor IV Tel-U, Dr. M. Yahya Arwiyah, SH., MH.
According to Yahya, an orientation activity is important to introduce the campus to new students, and as a form of concern for the young generation to be obedient and responsible to the nation and state of Indonesia. “It was realized with the training provided by members of TNI Battalion Zipur 3 / YW for OMB’s activities,” said Yahya.
Yahya concerned, with the opening of OMB 2015 event on the first day, the participants continue to implement a series of activities with enthusiasm.
The Training which is by members of TNI Battalion Zipur 3 / YW included defending the country and leadership. Participants are trained marching and leadership. Furthermore, activities were taken over by the executive committee of Student Affairs with the introduction agenda Telkom University campus. (purel / radit)
