BANDUNG TEL-U – Telkom Indonesia (Telin) is currently strengthening its business abroad in addition to focus on domestic market. One of targeted country is Malaysia. In a public lecture Faculty of Business Economics (FEB) Telkom University, CEO Of Telin Malaysia, Oki Wiranto said that Telin apply a universal approach to implement a business expansion.
“Administering business in Malaysia, Telkom apply the universal approach. If the enterprise involved the typical values of Indonesia, its certainly not appropriate. It is because the entirely values of Indonesian culture can not be accepted in Malaysia. Besides that, a sense of Malaysian nationalism society to the country is also a challenge in expanding the business. Therefore, an important universal values put forward in expanding the business, “said Oki, Friday (20/3).
Telin International expansion method, followed the concept of community, traffic and network. “It has 5 business portfolio specifically mobile alliances, borderless-T, data center, Dico, and IT Solution,” Oki said. He also added that Malaysia has potentiality to expand with the diaspora of Indonesian community in Malaysia. Telin MVNO business in Malaysia is focused to serve the Indonesian community in Malaysia.
