Together with the Al-Bahjah Da’wah Development Institute, Telkom University agreed to cooperate. This collaboration is contained in a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed directly by the Chancellor of Telkom University Prof. Dr. Adiwijaya and LPD Al-Bahjah Buya Yahya on Monday (7/2).
Both parties agreed to carry out the Tridarma of Higher Education, namely the Implementation of Education, Research and Community Service, and Development of Institutional Resources.
“We as educators, lecturers not only transfer knowledge but build morals because the best humans are those who are beneficial to others.”
Prof. Adiwijaya also said that schools and universities have to produce a superior generation who can face the world’s challenges.
“The development of digital technology is a stepping stone, so education is needed that can make students as agents of goodness formed through character education.”
LPD Al-Bahjah caretaker Buya Yahya said that character education could be done through several student programs such as faith and fiqh, starting from the first time you enter the dormitory on campus.
“Hopefully, the things contained in this MoU can be implemented soon so that through this collaboration, it will not only bring goodness to Telkom University and LPD Al-Bahjah but together can bring goodness and progress to the Indonesian nation.”
