BANDUNG, Telkom University – Telkom University committed to create an outstanding generation for the advancement of Indonesia by improving the quality of Telkom University.
Based on the decree of the National Accreditation Board for Higher Education (BAN-PT) No. 407 / SK / BAN-PT / AK-ISK / PT / 2021 in 2021, Telkom University succeeded in achieving Superior accreditation and award as the first Private Higher Education (PTS) in Indonesia to achieve Superior accreditation.
Based on BAN-PT regulation number 1 of 2020, regarding the accreditation mechanism, the term accreditation ranking or accredited ranking is Excellent, Very Good and Good or Not Accredited, to see university qualifications and the quality of study programs at State Universities and Private Universities.
The meaning of superior accreditation itself is that when a university manages to get superior accreditation, it can be said that the university has exceeded the National Higher Education Standards in Indonesia.
Telkom University currently has 37 Study Programs (Prodi) from 7 Faculties, of which 62.1% or 23 Prodi have obtained A accreditation, and one has achieved Superior accreditation. 59% of them or 19 study programs have been internationally accredited, including IABEE, ASIC, and ABEST 21.
This year Telkom University also succeeded in being included in the Times Higher Education (THE) Impact Rankings 2021 based on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Telkom University won first place for private universities in Indonesia and was ranked 10th in Indonesia along with 9 State Universities (PTN), in the world ranking Telkom University was ranked 201-300 in the world.
Rector of Telkom University, Prof. Adiwijaya congratulated all Telkom University academicians for the achievements, once again Telkom University was given the confidence to continue to provide the best quality education for the people of Indonesia.
“This is a form of a mandate for us (Tel-U), through recognition as a superior university in Indonesia, Telkom University continues to be committed to continuing to contribute to the nation through quality education.” He explained.
Acknowledgments Prof. Adiwijaya conveyed to all academicians who have made Tel-U proud both nationally and internationally.
