BANDUNG, Telkom University – Telkom University held a ceremony in the framework of the 77th Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia, which took place at the Telkom University ceremony field Wednesday (17/8).
Rector of Telkom University, Prof. Adiwijaya, delivered a speech from the Minister of Education, Culture, Research and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia, Nadiem Anwar Makarim. It said that Education in Indonesia had provided an example to the world of how learning is happening here. Education in Indonesia favors students and frees teachers to be creative in teaching through the Merdeka curriculum and the independent teaching platform.
“We have also assured the world that the younger generation of Indonesia has been trained in the world of work and social life, whose provisions have been obtained since they were in college through various off-campus study programs collected on an independent campus.” He said.
Based on the theme 77th Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia, “Recover Faster, Rise Stronger,” the Minister of Education and Culture said in the G20 forum that the Ministry of Education and Culture encouraged countries in the world to present funding support for artists and cultural actors. So, they can inspire again with their best works, especially in the post-pandemic period.
“These things that I mentioned are only a small part of the breakthrough of Merdeka Belajar, which has now reached 21 episodes. There are many more episodes of Merdeka Belajar that we will launch until all children throughout Indonesia feel the real independence, which is to learn happily, work without obstacles, and run towards the future with full courage as Pancasila Students.” He said.
Congratulations on commemorating the 77th Anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Indonesia in 2022. Especially for educators, education staff, and students throughout the country, let’s continue to work together to restore and awaken an independent Indonesia, realizing Merdeka Learning.
The ceremony took place solemnly led by the inspector of traditions, Putra Fajar Alam, the Head of the Marketing and Reporting Section of Telkom University, and the raising of the flag by the Tel-U flag raising troops (paskibra).
After the ceremony, Telkom University Rector Prof. Dr. Adiwijaya, with all leaders, inaugurated the Tel-U CUP 2022 competition, a series of Telkom University’s 9th Anniversary, and the 32nd Telkom Campus. In this competition, there are 32 competitions consisting of 18 sports, 13 sports, and one sports branch.
