BANDUNG, Telkom University – Telkom University with PT. LG Electronics Indonesia cooperates with the “Synergy Between Universities and Businesses” program.
This collaboration is stated in a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed directly by the Rector of Telkom University Prof. Adiwijaya and Director of PT. LG Electronics Indonesia Seung Min Park, on the sidelines of the Communication Forum for the Development of Energy-Saving Technologies in Electronic Products at the Papandayan Hotel, Bandung, (12/2).
In this agreement both parties agreed to develop a Training and Certification program for both parties, giving grants, internships, seminars, conferences & exhibitions as well as research.
Stating on his speech, Seung Min Park mentioned that through this collaboration, it was expected to introduce the inverter technology contained in the LG AC to be better known and developed by the University known for its ICT, Telkom University.
“We hope that this collaboration can be sustainable and can be developed into a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA). Therefore, technology can be more developed in the future.” He said.
Prof. Adiwijaya welcomed the collaboration, according to him, the collaboration between Telkom University and Industry is a good step to jointly develop industries both in Indonesia and South Korea.
“We hope that this cooperation will not only benefit the two parties but more than that it will benefit people and be able to develop the economic and industrial sectors in their respective countries.” He explained.
