BANDUNG, Telkom University โ The Jabar Future Leader Scholarship (JFLS) Assistance Program is back! The JFLS Scholarship is an educational assistance program from the Provincial Government of West Java which is held annually for students pursuing higher education at the D3 to S3 levels.
This year there are several series of activities in the program, including Online Training, Coaching, and Pitching for the 10 selected Business Plans.
Telkom University (Tel-U) had the opportunity to take part in the mentoring program for scholarship recipients and won first place. The students who join the program were Muhammad Rizal Bimantoro (Bachelor of Information Systems), Salmania Farisyah (S1 of Product Design), Aqila Zahra Qonita (S1 of Digital Public Relations), Salma Rubbi Bulqiyyah (S1 of Business Administration), Krisnawati Situmorang (S1 of Communication Science), and Muhammad Thoriq Al-Fajri (S1 Industrial Engineering).
Muhammad Rizal Bimantoro the head of the group expressed his gratitude for being the winner of the 2022 JFLS scholarship program.
“Alhamdulillah, we had the opportunity to be among the 10 groups that were selected to carry out the pitch deck and were finally selected as the Best Business Plan,” Rizal said.
In this program, the Tel-U team created a business idea called Rotanesia. Rotanesia is an application that aims to accommodate rattan craftsmen in marketing rattan handicraft products. The existence of Rotanesia is expected to be able to facilitate craftsmen in assisting the marketing and sales process. This expectation is supported by the existence of four service features, namely rattan buying and selling transactions, rattan community forums, threads, news, and tips, as well as strong partners and branding.
