In collaboration with the Sumedang Regency Government and the Information Communications Service (Dinkominfo), Telkom University developed a Command Center. Head of the Blora Regency Communication and Information Office (Dinkominfo), Pratikto Nugroho, S.Sos, MM., stated that the Blora Command Center is ready to be launched on Saturday (26/2).
“In just two months, we have been given application grants and some technical matters. We are quite grateful, especially from the Sumedang Regency Government, Telkom University, and Telkom, because the Blora Command Center will soon be launched,” he said.
Pratikto said that the Command Center is an innovative development because more and more internet usage is synonymous with changing people’s behavior. Internet users in Indonesia alone reach 73.7% of the total population of 204.7 million. Around 201.8 million people will have access to the internet in Indonesia by early 2022.

Pratikto added that based on the Electronic-Based Government System (SPBE) or better known as E-Government, government administration that utilizes information and communication technology would provide services to SPBE users.
“SPBE aims to realize good governance, improve the quality of public services, and increase community participation in the implementation of development.”
This SPBE has three significant benefits, namely E-Government, concerning governance, optimizing community services to a low point, and being integrated between the central and regional governments.
Pratikto said, as the tagline ‘Sesarengan Mbangun Blora’ is superior and competitive, the presence of the Command Center will greatly assist policymakers in responding to the current situation. It was carried out after transferring knowledge with Telkom University.
According to him, the launch of the Blora Command Center is still in the early stages because there are still further stages that need to be supported by all parties and commitment from the leadership. In the future, the Blora Command Center will be a shared responsibility.
