BANDUNG, Telkom University – In order to sharpen the strategy of managing research and community service in Telkom University, Telkom University through the Directorate of Research and Community Service(PPM held a Workshop on Innovation Strategies in Research Management, Community Service and Research Laboratories.
The event, which was held on Monday, March 4, 2019, took place in Multimedia Room, 2nd floor of Bangkit Building, and was attended by tens of lecturers, heads of expertise groups and heads of study programs. Present as speakers were Prof. Dr. Eng. Wisnu Jatmiko, S.T., M.Kom. as the Research manager Computer Science Faculty, Universitas Indonesia.
Rector of Telkom University, Prof. Dr. Adiwijaya in his speech advised that this activity could accelerate research and community service in Telkom University. “Hopefully today’s activities can improve the quality and quantity of research for lecturers at Telkom University, especially lecturers who are participating in JFA acceleration program.” He said.
In his presentation, Prof. Wisnu explained the best practice in managing research and community service in his research laboratory. According to him, in the research lab there should be a head of the lab, and a number of members who are hierarchically composed of professors / doctors, doctoral students, master students, and undergraduate students. He strongly emphasized the importance of a good team in managing more research and community service grants and scholarships. “There is no superman, there is a super team,” he said.
