BANDUNG, TEL-U – Telkom University (Tel-U) today, Saturday (28/3) inaugurate 648 graduand of diploma, Bachelor and Master. The Graduand from seven faculties and 25 study program follows the Open Session Senate Tel-U Period II in 2014/2015, in Building Pelampong (Multipurpose Building). Of these, 59 graduand graduates with cum laude predicate.
“Congratulations are due to the parent’s graduand today who being proud to accompany their child wearing a regalia. I am sure, the parents has been looking forward to their sons and daughters to wear a regalia graduand as a symbol of the end of the study period were taken in the last few years, “said Rector of Tel-U, Prof. Dr Mochammad Ashari, M.Eng., Ph.D.
This graduand, said Rector, will join the big family of Telkom University alumni, which until now has reached 29 370 people. Most of their career in a variety of companies, both at home and abroad. “There are also some of the alumni who continue their studies to pursue higher education,” he said.
He added that, there are 83 people or 13% of graduand today who have been accepted to work, both in the private and state agencies, and in various national companies and multi-national. “This figure does not include the allocation of 43 best graduate studies programs at Telkom University who has started the recruitment process in PT. Telkom Indonesia since a few weeks, “he said.(purel/raf)
