Telkom University Inaugurates 4,235 Graduands

BANDUNG, Telkom University โ€“ Telkom University Senate Open Session with the agenda of Graduation Masters, Bachelors, Applied Bachelors and Associate Experts Period I Academic Year 2022/2023 held on Friday and Saturday (2 โ€“ 3 December 2022).

The Graduation Ceremony for this period was held onsite at the Telkom University Convention Hall (TUCH) and parents of the graduates were placed in several faculty buildings considering the current conditions are still in the COVID-19 pandemic and to maintain health protocols.

Dr. Anisah Firli as chairman of the graduation committee said that the Telkom University graduation was managed directly by a team of Telkom University lecturers and students, this was a form of implementation of the Merdeka Learn Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) program.

“All committees involved in the Graduation activities this time involve students and a team of lecturers from Telkom University, we hope students can learn directly from organizing this activity so that Telkom University can produce digital talents who are ready to contribute to the Indonesian nation.”

Firli added, this graduation was divided into 2 days and each day was divided into 2 sessions. On the first day Friday (2/12), there were 813 graduates in session 1 and 814 graduates in session 2. Then on the second day (3/12), there were 1,360 graduates in the first session and 1,259 graduates in the second session.

“Apart from that, we also place the parents of the graduates in a different place, we apply this to avoid crowds at TUCH,” Firli explained.

On this occasion the Chairman of the Telkom University Senate, Dr. Ismail confirmed 4,235 graduates from 35 study programs, among 44 study programs in seven faculties at Telkom University.

After going through this inauguration procession, the graduates will join the Telkom University Alumni Forum (FAST) with more than 69 thousand alumni spread across 30 countries, including the United States, Brazil, Australia, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, and the Netherlands. , Sweden, Norway, France, Germany, Belgium, Poland, Malaysia, Singapore, Brunei Darussalam, Vietnam, Cambodia, China, Taiwan, Japan, South Korea, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Oman, Nigeria, Nepal, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, and Timor Leste.

The Rector of Telkom University, Prof. Dr. Adiwijaya in his remarks congratulated and was proud of all graduates of Telkom University.

“Congratulations to all graduates who have completed their education at the Telkom University campus. In addition, we also want to thank the parents/guardians who have entrusted their children to study at Telkom University,” he said.

In closing, the Rector of Telkom University invited graduates to continue to make their parents happy, so God Almighty will make you happy too and become a driver of success in the future.
