JAKARTA, Telkom University – Telkom University received an award from the Directorate General of Higher Education, Research and Technology (Dirjen Dikti Ristek), Ministry of Education and Culture, Research and Technology (Kemdikbud Ristek). The award as a Private Universities (PTS) with the best collaboration data management category PTS. The event took place in Building D of the Ministry of Education and Culture Thursday (13/1). It was broadcast live on the YouTube channel of the Directorate General of Higher Education and Research and Technology.
This award is the first award issued by Dikti Research and Technology. This appreciation is given to universities with the best management of cooperation and the best industrial partners who have collaborated with universities.
Aspects assessed in this award include the support of higher education leadership or policies in terms of organization, funding, and human resources (HR), the quality of SOPs for national and international cooperation, then the achievements of cooperation in the period 2020 to 2021 semester one and the achievements of collaboration with partners. The world’s top 100 and the quality of the attachments of national and international cooperation documents.
Plt. Director-General of Higher Education Research and Technology, Prof. Nizam, said that this collaboration was a proactive step from the Director-General of Higher Education, Research and Technology. The aim is to monitor and evaluate the efforts of universities to achieve IKU 6, namely study programs in collaboration with world-class partners.
“This year, we will increase the matching fund to encourage closer collaboration between universities and industry. Nothing but this will make universities a spring for the growth of superior human resources for the development of the nation and state,” he said.
Rector of Telkom University, Prof. Adiwijaya, expressed his gratitude to all parties who have supported Telkom University to achieve this award, especially to industrial partners who helped Tel-U produce a superior generation for the Indonesian nation.
“Congratulations to all Telkom University academics for this award; this is a mandate for us to continue to provide the best for the Indonesian people through good quality education,” he said. (***)
