JAKARTA, TEL-U – Telkom University ready to bind a contract with The Audit Board of Republic of Indonesia regarding academic and research. This was revealed when both parties did a meeting in Audit Board Office in Jalan Gatot Subroto Jakarta, Tue (5/13).
In that meeting, Rector of Telkom Universty Prof. Ir. Mochamad Ashari., M.Eng., Ph.D presented as one of representatives of Telkom University, along with Vice of Rector IV Sector Research & Student Affair Dr. M. Yahya Arwiyah, SH., MH and Chairman of Yayasan Pendidikan Telkom (YPT) and Yayasan Pendidikan Sandhykara Putra (YSPT) Johni Girsang M.Sc. As for representatives of The Audit Board of Republic of Indonesia, Secretary General Hendar Ristiawan, SH., MH and his lines, presented as its representatives.
According to Hendar, this contract is inline with program that being designed by The Audit Board: The Audit Board Goes to Campus (BPK Goes to Campus). This is regarding an issue that being concerned by The Audit Board: How an Audit Institution can involve society in planning and operational that described in tagline“Engagement with Social Society”
In meeting that was held in Gedung Biru / Blue Building, Hendar conveyed that The Audit Board and Tel-U can cooperate in academic. “Public lecture regarding audit, for example. Is a reasonable activity that can be done,” he said.
Chairman of YPT-YSPT Johni Girsang and Rector of Telkom University gladly accepted this offer. Johni said his party gladly support this cooperation. Meanwhile Mochamad Ashari clarified Telkom University is ready to do joiny research if neccesary. “Because currently Telkom University have four functioning audit researchs. (Purel/JKP/DH)
