BANDUNG, Telkom University – Times Higher Education (THE) world university ranking agency released THE Asia University Rankings 2022 (THE AUR 2022). In this ranking, Telkom University again won the first Private Universities (PTS) rank in Indonesia.
Through the www.timeshighereducation.com page, the Times Higher Education Asia University Rankings 2022 uses the same 13 performance indicators as THE World University Rankings, where THE AUR 2022 covers 616 universities from 31 regions in Asia.
Of the 616 universities, Telkom University managed to rank 401-500 in Asia, rank nine nationally, and rank first in private universities in Indonesia.
The performance indicators assessed are based on five areas, namely Teaching (the learning environment); Research (volume, income, and reputation); Citation (research influence); International outlook (staff, students, and research); and Industry Income (knowledge transfer).
From these indicators, Telkom University achieved an overall score of 20.9 – 24.8, with details of Teaching 16.5; Research (Research) 12.0; Citations (Quotes) 31.0; International outlook 15.9; Industry Income 35.3.
The Rector of Telkom University, Prof. Dr. Adiwijaya, congratulated Telkom University on the achievements achieved by Telkom University. According to him, this was the result of hard work and brilliant work from the Telkom University academic community and contributions from alumni and all stakeholders.
“This recognition is a mandate for us (Tel-U) to continue contributing to the Indonesian nation. Appreciation and thanks to all academics, alumni, and stakeholders of Telkom University. The ranking is not the main thing, but we must remain focused on always providing the widest possible contribution and benefit to the people and nation of Indonesia.” Obviously.
