Telkom University Students Received Doses 1 and 2 Vaccine

BANDUNG, Telkom University – The Covid-19 Vaccination Program for Telkom University (Tel-U) Students in collaboration with the West Java Regional Police (POLDA JABAR) and Alumni of the Faculty of Medicine, University of Padjadjaran 1984 has now entered the stage of injecting the 2nd dose of the Sinovac vaccine.

Previously, 1,538 Telkom University students who passed the screening had undergone the first dose of vaccination on June 21, 2021, and on July 21, 2021, the second dose of Sinovac vaccine was injected at the Telkom University Manterawu Building.

This number represents the first batch of vaccination programs, wherein the second wave which took place on July 6, 2021, as many as 2,080 academics had undergone the first dose of Sinovac vaccination which took place in the same place.

“Today, August 3, 2021, the second dose of Sinovac vaccine has been injected for the second batch of vaccination programs.” Said the Head of Tel-U Siaga Covid-19 (Telsico) Dr. Anisah Firli.

Firli said that the implementation of the vaccination program for Telkom University students is a form of Tel-U’s support to the government in the success of the vaccination program in Indonesia, and an effort to grow immunity among the academic community.

“Even though we have undergone the first and second doses of vaccination, we ask all academics, students, lecturers, and employees to continue to comply with the Health protocols, and always be vigilant, because this pandemic is not over yet,” she said.

In the implementation of the second dose of vaccination, the West Java Police Chief, Inspector General of Police, Ahmad Dofiri, accompanied by the Rector of Telkom University, Prof. Adiwijaya.
