BANDUNG, Telkom University – COPASS or Collective Passion in Art & Design, is an exhibition event organized by the Faculty of Creative Industries through the Visual Communication Design Study Program (DKV Study Program) held at the Hall of the Creative Industries Faculty (Sebatik Building) Telkom University, Wednesday (4 / 12).
COPASS 3.0, presented collaborative work with 150 MSMEs in the Regency of Bandung, West Java. Where the 150 MSMEs exhibit work products in the form of websites, logos, and applications.
DKV Study Program Lecturer, Bijaksana Prabawa, or familiarly called Abi, said that this activity was a form of FIK contribution to participate in developing the MSME sector in the Bandung Regency area, where students came down directly to help the community in shaping their product identity.
“We want students to get direct learning from the community, not only theories obtained on campus, here the activities we provide are logo design, identity media, website design and application, and design strategies on how design outputs are integrated with the business needs of MSMEs.” He said.
The Secretary of the Bandung Regency Cooperative and Small and Medium Enterprises Agency, Neneng Zaenar thanked Telkom University and the Faculty of Creative Industries for helping to develop the MSME sector in the Bandung Regency region.
“We hope that the SMEs can make the most of this activity, I advise them to continue to innovate and improve the products of MSMEs owned by ladies and gentlemen,” he said.
In addition to the exhibition in this event, there was also a seminar by Yanuar Rahman about MSME digital marketing, Fajar Sadika about service design on MSME products, Ristama Prawita about how to monetize your own app and Imansyah Lubis about managing projects in the entertainment industry.
