BANDUNG, TEL-U – The contriver of 4G technology for telecommunication, Dr Khoirul Anwar, is currently developing a 5G and 6G technology. “I hope this 5G technology will be completed by 2020 and will be operated on 2025 while the 6G technology is expected to be completed in 2030,” he said.
This conveyed by Dr Khoirul at a seminar of ‘5G Wireless Future Technology’ in Bangkit Building 2nd Floor Tel-U Multimedia Room, Wednesday (3/3).
According to him, in developed countries, telecommunication technology is growing rapidly. Once the presence of the 4th generation network, or what we call 4G, now the development of the network is already up to 5G and 6G.
At the seminar organized by Faculty of Electrical Engineering Telkom University (FTE Tel-U), Khoirul explained KPI (Key Performance Indicator) of 5G is it has a 1000x capacity of existing capacity. “In other words, should be required a number of 5G tower mobile or cellular tower which can be accessed by many people,” he said.
This man from Kediri who invented 4G technology in 2010, also reminded the seminar participants to think that the mission of 5G and 6G is to encourage Indonesia and continue to grow massively. “We hope Indonesia can reach the heyday in 2045 and master a lot of things in the field of technology,” he said.
