BANDUNG, Telkom University – The BUMN Higher Education Alliance (APERTI BUMN) consists of eight universities affiliated with State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) again held a scholarship program for high school/K graduates throughout Indonesia.
The eight universities include Telkom University (Tel-U), Pertamina University, PLN Institute of Technology (IT PLN), Semen Indonesia International University (UISI), IT Telkom Surabaya (ITT Surabaya), Telkom Institute of Technology Purwokerto (ITT Purwokerto), Telkom Institute of Technology Jakarta (ITT Jakarta) and the University of Logistics and International Business (ULBI) (dh/STIMLOG and Poltekpos).
In the scholarship program launching online on Saturday (11/6), the chairman of APERTI BUMN and the Rector of Telkom University, Prof. Adiwijaya said that this year APERTI BUMN will provide scholarships to the best students.
“The scholarship is given to high school/K graduates in 2021 or 2022 who are interested in attending undergraduate/diploma level lectures at one of the eight universities under APERTI BUMN.”
Prof. Adiwijaya added that the awardee gets a 100% full scholarship during their study period at the college of their choice.
“This year, APERTI BUMN provides 40 selected new students with 100% full scholarships based on their university choice. The registration process started on June eleven. The selection process includes academic selection (including submitting report cards) and online interviews.”
The following are the requirements to apply for the 2022 BUMN APERTI scholarship program:
SMA/SMK/MA students graduate in 2021 and 2022
Attach report cards for semesters 1 to 5
Attach a certificate if any
The registration file is uploaded online on the website of the chosen university
Participants may only apply one (1) college destination
The period of the BUMN APERTI scholarship program:
Registration: 11 June to 25 July 2022
Administrative Selection: 5 July 2022
Administrative Selection Announcement: 11 – 13 July 2022
Interview: 14 to 20 July 2022
Announcement: July 25, 2022
The members of APERTI BUMN already have specializations. TEL-U for information and communication technology field. Pertamina University in the energy sector. UISI in the field of cement business and technology. ITT Surabaya in the field of communication technology. IT PLN specializes in electricity, ITT Purwokerto in Healthcare, Agro-industry, Tourism, and Small-Medium Enterprise, ITT Jakarta focuses on applications in the creative industry, digital economy and entrepreneurship, and ULBI in logistics, supply chain management & e-commerce.
The advantages from universities of APERTI BUMN members are their proximity to industry, which allows their members to collaborate to implement the Triple Helix concept (Academic, Business, and Government).
Within the scope of education, SOE APERTI will contribute to the field of education for the underprivileged in Indonesia with the SOE CSR financing mechanism. BUMN CSR will be very beneficial for the need to continue their higher education level. The cooperation between BUMN APERTI and BUMN is expected to create efficiency from the operational side of the education. In terms of curriculum preparation and equalization of courses, lecturer exchanges, and the use of facilities such as laboratories and libraries.
