Attif was chosen as a 2022 IISMA awardee and has the opportunity to pursue his education in one of reputable universities in the world named Vytautas Magnus University, Lithuania. Attif has begun his study for 1 semester from 29 August 2022 to 31 January 2023.
According to Attif, when he was invited as a speaker in the 2023 IISMA Info Session held on Wednesday (11/1), there were three stages to prepare. The first stage is the administrative documents that include GPA, English test such as IELTS, Duolingo ET, TOEFL IBT, and passport. The second stage of preparation requires applicants to prepare essential documents such as academic transcript and letter of recommendation. The last preparation stage is to do in-depth research regarding the host campus, especially the information about its study programs and departments.
โSeeking information about the host campus and the course availability is very important to do because it is related to the recognition of 20 credit hours when you return to Indonesia. Therefore, it minimizes the trouble when recognition time is carried out.โ Said Attif.
Other tips from Attif are to have motivations and the reasons why taking the 2023 IISMA Scholarship Program. As one out of thousands of applicants, the applicants are required to maximize their potential and to learn not only from IISMA alumni but also from other great people.
โLast but not least, be yourselves. Be sincere and honest when writing an essay and doing an interview. Do not lose your originality and personal traits. Be sure that you are capable and different from others.โ Said Attif.
