The Faculty of Industrial Engineering Telkom University organized the International Conference on Industrial, Enterprise, and System Engineering (ICoIESE) on Thursday (5/3) at the Multimedia room, Bangkit Building, Telkom University.
Rector of Telkom University, Prof. Dr. Adiwijaya is invited to attend and open this ICoIESE event. In his speech, he introduced this year’s theme, namely Enhancing System Performance through Technology, Innovation and Sustainability Integration.
“In the future, Tel-U is committed to being a Research and Entrepreneurial University. Our priority is to spread the benefit by upholding collaboration with other parties,” said Adiwijaya.
The ICoIESE 2020 invited two experts in their respective fields. The first was Prof. Shuo-Yan Chou, Ph.D, a Professor of Industrial Management and Director of the Center for the Internet of Things Innovation (CITI) at the National Taiwan University of Science and Technology (NTUST). Then second, Prof. Dr. Noordin bin Mohd. Yusof, a Professor at the School of Mechanical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia.
The ICOIESE 2020 organized by FRI in collaboration with Busan National University and the BK21 Busan University project team, South Korea as a co-organizer, and supported by Telkom Institute of Technology Surabaya, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, Udayana University, and Texas Health and Science University.
Besides Indonesia, five other countries are participating in ICOIESE 2020, includes Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Malaysia, and Timor Leste.
Initially, this grand event will be held at the Bali Nusa Dua Resort, Bali, Indonesia. However, due to the outbreak of the Corona Virus (Covid-19) issue in Indonesia has made Telkom University changes the plan. International Conference is still held by utilizing online video conferences in real-time.
