BANDUNG, Telkom University – Telkom University through the Directorate of Career Development, Alumni and Endowment (Dir. CAE) organized Alumni Sharing Entrepreneur 5.0 on Tuesday (25/05) via the ZOOM Meeting, and broadcast live through the CAE Tel-U Youtube channel.
Dean of the School of Electrical Engineering, Dr. Bambang Setia Nugroho expressed his pride for alumni. The presence of alumni to share knowledge and experiences can motivate students to become entrepreneurs.
“It is hoped that the students who are present here can listen to the experiences of the speakers, how to build a start-up, what needs to be prepared both individually and in teams,” he said.
Dr. Bambang also said that this activity is expected to build engagement between alumni and students because the knowledge gained from experience will provide great learning and benefits.
Alumni and Endowment Manager Dra. Yani Nuraeni said that this activity aims to build engagement with Telkom University alumni.
“Not only through sharing activities, but alumni have also contributed a lot as mentors and facilitators for their younger students,” he said.
With the theme ‘Self-Investment for Your Future’, Alumni Sharing Entrepreneur 5.0 presented a guest speaker Muhammad Zain Imtiyaz, an alumnus of S1 Computer Systems 2010 who is the Founder of Scola LMS (Scola. id).
Zain explained about investing to build an impactful start-up. In building a start-up, there are basic motivations that need to be made.
“The question ‘why is the most basic question that must be asked to build a long-term goal,” he said.
