Again, Tel-U Organized FGD in the Creative Industry

BANDUNG, Telkom University – Answering the needs of industry, Telkom University (Tel-U) as the No. 1 private universities in Indonesia continues to improve the quality of graduands by understanding the needs of industry through Industrial Focus Group Discussion (FGD).

The event which was held at JS Luwangsa Hotel, Jakarta, on Wednesday (8/28), was regularly held by the Career Development Center (CDC) collaborate with the academic section of Telkom University.

As the previous FGD, the discussion is still around the preparation of the 2020 Telkom University curriculum, by inviting industry experts engaged in the creative industries.

Vice-Rector I in Academic Affairs, Dr. Dadan Rahadian explained that this event is needed to perceive what industry needs from education.

“We have the School of Creative Industries. And we invited the experts, especially in the creative field to give us some inputs to prepare our graduands. So in the future, they can be absorbed in the industrial world.” He said.

Through this FGD, Dadan also expected that the discussion could produce the best solutions.

“Please suggest to us what is your company need from Tel-U graduands, the suggestion is very beneficial for our quality in preparing human resources for your company.” He said.
