Bandung citizens Enthusiastic Watched Dancing Robot

BANDUNG, TEL-U – A number of Bandung resident who came to Car Free Day Jalan Juanda Bandung on Sunday (16/10) morning seemed enthusiastic about watching a pair of robots waddle perform mask dance. Robot as high as 60 centimeters was the work of students of Robotic Telkom University (Tel-U).

This robot appearance was one of the interesting events held by Tel-U to promote Bandung ICT Expo and Anja 2016. The event is the highlight of the 3rd Anniversary Tel-U which will be held on Wednesday – Friday (19-21 / 10) in Telkom University Convention Hall (TUCH).

In addition to this robot, Tel-U Cosplay community also participated to enliven this promotional event. At the end of the event, Ukeba Squad managed to entertain and make people who come to Bandung CFD helped swaying to the song.

A pair of robots will also be shown at the opening of Bandung ICT Expo & ANJA 2016. It is planned that the Minister of Research, Technology, and Higher Education (Menristekdikti) Prof. Muhammad Nasir will open the event along West Java Governor Ahmad Heryawan and a number of other figures.

Chief Executive of The 3rd Anniversary of Telkom University, Dr. Ir. Dida Dyah Damayanti, M.Eng said, Bandung ICT Expo & Anja 2016 will present interesting content that is related to Information and Communication Technology (ICT). Among these exhibits the latest hardware, ICT-based startup, travel fairs, and so forth.

Bandung and Anja ICT Expo 2016 is also the obligation of Telkom University to contribute nationally by featuring the latest technology in the world of ICT. “So the people who come to Bandung ICT Expo & Anja in 2016 could have updated information on the latest technologies in the field of ICT,” said Dida.
