The Provincial Government of Bangka Belitung made an onsite visit to Telkom University on Wednesday (22/05). The purpose of this visit is related to the Initiation of Scholarship Cooperation and Research Cooperation and Community Service that is conducted in Bangka Belitung.
Vice-Rector for Admissions, Student Affairs, and Alumni, Dr. Dida Diah Damajanti, warmly welcomed the group from Bangka Belitung Provincial Government.
“We always welcome collaborations, hopefully in the future, there will be many collaborations that can be done. There have been various collaborations related to digital implementation in the regions that Tel-U has carried out. Whatever the study program, here the basis is ICT, that is our concern. The wider we can make an impact, the better.” said Dida.
At the meeting of these two institutions, the discussion focused on the Presentation of New Student Admissions by the Director of Admission of Tel-U, Rinna Fridiana, M.M. CPM, and the Director of Research and Community Service, Dr. Pack Muslim Laksmana. It is projected that Tel-U and the Provincial Government of Bangka Belitung plan to provide scholarships for outstanding Bangka Belitung graduate students and hold Abdimas for ICT implementation in remote areas in Bangka Belitung.
Regional Secretary of Bangka Belitung Province, Dr. Drs. Naziarto, revealed that Tel-U has become a benchmark for the Bangka Belitung Provincial Government in developing the area there. He hopes that the initiation of this collaboration can be followed up in the form of an MoU.
“We hope that Tel-U can provide knowledge to the teaching staff in our area to improve the competence of the teaching staff and students here. We also want to provide scholarships for our students to be able to study at Tel-U. Likewise, Tel-U students who want to do KKN, we are very open” said Naziarto.
