Telkom University again held Tabligh Akbar in the first week of the month of Ramadan with the theme ‘Ramadan Builds Excellent Personality.’ This event was held on Friday (8/4) in a hybrid manner at the Syamsul Ulum Mosque (MSU), Telkom University.
This time, the Syamsul Ulum Mosque presented the Trustees of the Sprinkling of Faith Da’wah Foundation, namely Dr. Aam Amiruddin, M.Si, to give a spiritual shower to the big family of the Tel-U academic community, such as students, employees, and leaders of Telkom University.
The Rector of Telkom University, Prof. Dr. Adiwijaya, was also present at this event. According to him, this month of Ramadan is an opportunity for all of us to improve ourselves, to become superior individuals who are pious and trustworthy.
“We thank Allah SWT for the health that has been given so that we can gather to get blessings. We are here with a holy intention that we want to continue to improve ourselves so that we can become role models in our environment. So that we can all continue to spread kindness so that it becomes a charity.” said the chancellor.
Ustad Aam delivered material on how we can become superior individuals in this holy month of Ramadan. Becoming an outstanding person, according to him, begins with Taqwa, which means Trust. All of the teachings of Islam, according to Ustad Aam, ultimately teach us to be trustworthy. According to him, there are several characteristics of a superior person.
“Being a superior person generally has several characteristics: being responsible, honest, increasing competence, collaboration (friendship), adaptive, and creating harmony. By having such a person, God willing, we will become individuals who are beneficial for ourselves and the environment. Let’s improve ourselves in this holy month,” said Aam.
