BANDUNG, Telkom University โ The National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN) of the Republic of Indonesia visited Telkom University on Monday (8/2). BRIN visited four laboratories in Tel-U, namely: Telecom Infra Project (TIP) Laboratory; Labs. AICOMS; IoT Center; AdcNet; Nanosatellites; CeLOE Studios; and various facilities at the Faculty of Applied Sciences (FIT). This visit is the beginning of the collaboration between the two institutions in developing IT-based innovation products and reviewing the research results carried out by Tel-U lecturers.
The Head of BRIN Engineering Science OR was stated by Dr. eng. Budi Prawara. He said he was very interested in seeing Tel-U’s IT development support facilities.
“Hopefully, we can fully contribute, especially in the field of Electronics and Telecommunications in Indonesia. With complete facilities like this, we hope to collaborate in the future. Let’sLet’s work together, take advantage of the programs at BRIN and Tel-U for mutual progress.” said Budi.
Vice-Rector for Research, Innovation & Cooperation at Telkom University, Dr. Ir. Rina Pudji Astuti, M.T. explained that Tel-U is ready to assist in any cooperation related to research and innovation and is open to every opportunity.
“We are grateful and express our gratitude. Hopefully, from here, we will have much cooperation in the future. The most important thing is how the research we produce can benefit and contribute to the Indonesian economy.” Said Rina.
For information, Tel-U and BRIN have also cooperated in the development of Metaverse. At that time, the visiting team was from the Center for Research and Information Technology. Meanwhile, this time it was from the Department of Engineering Science, which is why the visit focused on supporting facilities in Electronics and Telecommunication.
